My Linux pill history:

My story begins with a Pewdiepie video where he explains why he switched to Linux...

So you don't have to!
Just kidding (・3・)! I highly recommend everyone switch to Linux, even if you don't know much about computers or operating systems. I started with Linux Mint which is very user friendly for those who switch from Windows. You can even have Windows & Linux on your laptop with a dualboot. I done it with 0 knowledge from a guide then switched fully to Linux. Best decision for my! I learn some commands, how computer works, started homelabing and being more selfhosted, tech and privacy (not anonimitny which is totaly diffrent) focused!
Linux VS Windows:

PROS | CONS |
---|---|
Customization | Limited Popular Software Availability |
Faster File Search | Learning Curve. |
Better Performance on Older Hardware | Hardware Compatibility |
No Unnecessary Telemetry | Gaming Limitations |
Access to Free Software | |
No modern AI slop features | |
Package Management | |
Minimal Resource Usage | |
Diverse Distributions | |
More secure |
Where am I now?
After I think a 6 months I switched to
ARCH LINUX

Installed with `arch install` and tutorials but shhh (·•᷄_•᷅ )
I use Arch Linux with Hyprland, a tiling window manager. Most window managers use floating windows — you open an app and place it wherever you want. In contrast, a tiling window manager automatically arranges windows into tiles. Look at exmaple below:

(It's not lagging on my pc. Just didn't know how to convert it into a gif with better framerate).
I done my configuration following the series of those tutorial videos made by @typecraft_dev.
